What is Mojo and what can it do for my horse?
Joint:...MOJO was developed to promote healthy joints and reduce pain in competitive, growing, geriatric and arthritic horses. It was designed to improve freedom of movement, reduce joint inflammation, and enhance joint lubrication. Therapeutic ingredients aid in preventing cartilage war and tear, promote capillary health and improve circulation to troubled joints, MOJO has nine powerful and anti-inflammatory, cartilage building and pain reducing ingredients: Glucosamine Sulfate, MSM, Cetyl-Myristoleate, Hyaluronic acid, silicon, vitamin C, Omega 3 fatty acids, Yucca and Boswellia Serrata.
Bone:...Silicon is an ingredient that is unique to MOJO and was added for the findings in several Texas A&M and Michigan State studies where it was beneficial in reducing and repairing bone and cartilage damage and increasing bone density and strength. Horses in the clinical trials experienced a 50% less training/ racing related injuries including splints, stress fractures and Sesamoiditis. Vitamins A and D were added at updated levels to aid in bone formation, glucose synthesis and calcium metabolism. Zn, Cu and Mn are provided in Chealated form for optimum bio-availability to the horse. These minerals aid in the conversion of cartilage to bone and joint lubrication production.
Immune Response, Antioxidants and Overall “well being”: ...When horses are competing in training and or being shipped they are under stress which makes them susceptible to allergens, bacteria and viruses. Such situations also contribute to nervousness which can lead to ulcers and digestive irritations that inhibit the horses’ performance and overall health. MOJO contains six antioxidants- Vitamins A,C, E,Selenium, Copper and Zinc Chelates which counteract harmful free radicals produced during normal cellular metabolism and work. Niacin, pyridoxine, L-tyrosine and Magnesium are considered ‘anti-stress’ nutrients, which promote overall good health. Omega 3 and 6 fatty acids, Zn amino Chelate, Vitamin C and Bioflavonoids enhance the immune responsiveness and protect your horse from the domino effect leading from poor health to lowered performance. For instance one study suggest Omega 3 fatty acids may decrease the adverse effects of Equine Endotoxemia and subsequently inhibit the occurrence of laminitis, organ failure, colic and other systemic complications.
Coat & Hoof:... Phenylalanine, DL-Methionine, L-Lysine, L-Proline, L-tyrosine, Threonine are amino acids, the building blocks of proteins, all needed in the maintenance and production on healthy hair and hoof. Three specific nutrients proven in studies to promote hoof growth and integrity are DL-Methionine and L-lysine, Copper Amino Chelate contributes to hair pigmentation and improvement in overall circulation. Omega 3 and 6 fatty acids were first known for their enhancement of hair, skin health, but are now known to do much more for the total body.
